Bob Barmak is a business strategy, technology, and operations expert who brings to Cornerstone Advisors’ Technology Services practice a long history of delivering increased client revenue and profit through business model transformation initiatives and programs. Bob’s out-of-the-box thinking has proven consistently successful for clients who realize significant benefits including improved productivity, decreased costs, mitigated risks, and enhanced shareholder value.

Before joining Cornerstone, Bob served as interim COO and CTO at a fintech startup, where he developed unified business, operational, and technology strategies focused on organic growth. Prior to that, he was a director at a leading business transformation firm. He began his financial career as principal and founder of a business advisory firm, serving also as interim lead global program management officer in charge of ensuring consistent alignment of business and technology aspects for large financial firms including AIG, BBVA Compass, Bank of America, JP Morgan Chase, and Morgan Stanley.

Bob has a certification in Prosci Change Management, a Six Sigma Green Belt, and a Portfolio Management Professional Certification in Training from the Project Management Institute.

He holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
