Scott Sommer is a board member and founder of Cornerstone Advisors with more than 20 years of experience in financial services, mergers and acquisitions, professional services, and technology. He advises senior leadership teams on strategic and technology planning, M&A assessments, merger integration, business model definition, and organizational design. Sommer contributes to GonzoBanker, is frequently quoted in industry publications, and speaks at bank and credit union events. Before founding Cornerstone, he was senior vice president and general manager of the financial services practice at Integrated Information Systems, where he helped develop sales and strategic alliance teams and guided the business through financing rounds and an initial public offering. Earlier in his career, Sommer practiced law in mergers and acquisitions and corporate litigation.
