As the Managing Director of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) at Cornerstone, Mary Eyre leads a strategic team, drives business expansion, fosters client relationships, and innovates our service offerings to align with market demands. Mary’s in-depth understanding of the intricacies of the financial service sector, coupled with her strategic acumen, has enabled her to navigate the challenges inherent in merger integrations and large business transformations while identifying and capitalizing on opportunities for growth and synergy. Her expertise spans all aspects of merger integrations, including technology alignment, risk management, regulatory compliance, financial modeling, operational optimization, and cultural alignment.

Mary has held key leadership positions in prominent financial institutions (Bank of America and Wells Fargo) and consulting firms (Accenture and KPMG), where she led numerous high-profile merger integrations and strategic business transformations. She was also a Senior Manager in Treasury at eBay/PayPal. Prior to joining Cornerstone, she held the positions of Chief of Staff and Program Management Executive at Bank of America for 17 years, where she was responsible for delivering complex, multi-year merger integrations, and strategic business and technology initiatives.  Notably, she played a pivotal role at a pioneering company specializing in web-based person-to-person and money-transfer services, which was subsequently acquired by eBay/PayPal.

Mary holds a Master of Business Administration degree from UCLA’s Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of California, Davis.
