Gina Gettings brings more than 20 years of cross-industry experience spanning banking, technical writing, editing & editorial management, education leadership, and organizational change management. She has served as a consultant with Cornerstone Advisors for nearly eight years, partnering with financial institutions to support complex transformation initiatives.

 

A disciplined and evidence-based change management practitioner, Gina specializes in translating high-stakes transitions into structured, sustainable outcomes. She is a member of the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP) and holds a Prosci Change Management with ADKAR certificate. Her early college education includes a Bachelor of Arts (Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL) and Master of Arts (University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL). Gina then earned both a Master of Business Administration (University of Phoenix in Tempe, AZ) and a PhD in Education and Organizational Leadership (Northcentral University in San Diego, CA). Her doctoral research, a qualitative exploratory single-case study, examined the relationship between leadership styles and effective change management during periods of accelerated organizational change.

 

She has also conducted extensive literature reviews synthesizing research on leadership, change sponsorship, and organizational change management, strengthening her ability to apply theory to practical client execution.

 

Gina has led and supported a diverse portfolio of engagements, including enterprise system transformations, organizational restructuring, policy changes, and the design of training and process improvement programs. She has been a trusted contributor to merger and acquisition initiatives, where strategic execution and people-centered change are critical to value realization.

 

Her current focus is supporting banks and credit unions in equipping their teams with clear, actionable resources that enable successful change adoption. Gina earned an AI Proficiency certificate and is actively advancing the integration of AI-enabled methodologies into organizational change management. Her work focuses on helping clients accelerate change adoption, improve scalability, and deliver measurable outcomes through forward-looking, technology-enabled practices.
