The number one technology platform in use today, what would you say that is for commercial?
For commercial? Bottom line, Excel.
Ah.
It’s cash flow sheets on Word docs. It’s pipeline management on Excel.
Wow.
Yes. That is by far the most implemented process, people, process and tech. It’s all three, right?
Sure.
So three years, five, say five years ago, the technology out there stunk. It just really wasn’t there. Excel was the best solution.
Commercial servicing, that’s one thing. That’s where the tech really started. I’m talking about online, getting online at the front end of the sale.
Okay.
Those types of components and the tech available at the time didn’t usually work. That’s very complex banking.
Okay.
So fast-forward to today, they’re good. We’ve got options out there. There’s a good half a dozen out there for any community institution that are viable, that actually work, that can get you through the financial analysis and spreading and all the different adds and puts that you need in that space.
