With an accomplished career in banking technology, Placida has served in senior enterprise architect roles in financial institutions such as PNC Bank, Morgan Stanley, ABN AMRO (NA), Westpac Banking Corporation (Australia) and Citibank (Australia), leading initiatives focused on core modernization, retail and commercial lending, credit cards, and retail and commercial banking.
Placida specializes in cross-platform enterprise integration and microservice design, development, and implementation. She has a proven ability to deliver customer-centric software solutions while balancing technical risks, regulatory compliance, and technology trade-offs.
Placida is committed to staying at the forefront of technological advancements, from mainframe banking systems to cloud platforms and machine learning.
