Mike Rempel is a Senior Director at Cornerstone Advisors, where he leads the firm’s Performance practice. Since joining Cornerstone in 2016, he has served in a variety of roles across Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, Strategy, and Contract Negotiations, giving him a uniquely comprehensive perspective on the strategic and operational challenges facing financial institutions today.
In his current role, Mike advises many of the nation’s leading community banks and credit unions on organizational strategy, benchmarking, and performance improvement. He helps executive teams clarify strategic priorities, uncover insights from complex data, and drive disciplined execution to achieve measurable results.
Mike is a co-author of multiple Cornerstone research reports, has been published in CUInsight, and is a regular contributor to GonzoBanker, Cornerstone’s widely read industry blog.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Northern Arizona University and an M.B.A. with an emphasis in Business Analytics from Auburn University.
Mike lives in Raleigh, North Carolina, with his wife and daughter.
