Bill McCorey brings a wealth of contract management, contract negotiation, vendor management, and strategic sourcing expertise to the Contract Negotiation practice at Cornerstone Advisors. As a director for the practice, Bill is focused on helping bank and credit union clients realize significant savings in their vendor contracts and mitigate contractual risk.
Before joining Cornerstone, Bill was with the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond in Richmond, Va., where for more than a decade he provided strategic sourcing expertise and negotiated complex, third-party contracts for software, hardware, and indirect products and services for the Federal Reserve’s National Information Technology procurement organization. He was recognized as a subject matter expert and trainer for the organization’s cloud-based sourcing and contract management ERP solution. Bill began his career with Circuit City Stores as a business continuity/compliance analyst and, later, a senior buyer for the firm’s strategic sourcing team.
Bill holds a bachelor's degree in information science and systems from Radford University in Radford, Va.
