Sr. Consultant Tech Services/IT Advisory

We are seeking a sharp Senior Banking Technology Consultant with 4-6 years banking experience, preferably in Business/IT, who is looking for a fast paced work environment with significant business exposure and career advancement opportunities.

As a Senior Banking Technology Consultant, you’ll help assess client issues, interview client executives staff, and help design, implement, and align IT strategy to an organization’s business objectives. You will also help clients apply leading-solutions to solve some of their most challenging banking business and technology issues.  This position may reside anywhere in the continental United States and travel can be 50 – 65% of the time.

Education and/or Experience

  • 4-6 years’ banking experience, preferably with knowledge in Banking systems technology / IT / Business analysis /
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business / Technology related field – Finance, Economics, Information Systems or other quantitative focus a plus. MBA a plus
  • Experience with application development and support, IT operations/engineering, IT governance and/or IT project management is highly preferred
  • Certifications in Project Management, Six Sigma, business analytics, Agile and similar disciplines is a plus
  • Previous experience working remote is preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage day to day interactions with clients and vendors
  • Assist in managing and delivering components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative technology solutions for banks and credit unions
  • Manage and drive day-to-day tactical aspects of projects
  • Take a lead role in developing project plans and deadlines
  • Develop, draft, and edit client deliverables
  • Coordinate planning engagements and facilitate sessions
  • Draft client communications
  • Create and/or respond to RFP’s (request for proposals)
  • Coordinate clients and vendor calls/meetings and manage multiple schedules and conflicts
  • Special projects as assigned by managing directors
  • Provide a high level of customer service in response to client inquiries and requests
  • Other duties as required and assigned

Computer Skills

  • Required proficiency with entire Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Experience using advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, nested conditional statements, and lookups) is a plus, but not required
  • Internet search processes and research abilities
  • Skilled with project management tools such as Microsoft Project is preferred
