Cornerstone Advisors is a national management and technology consulting firm offering a wide range of consulting services to meet the needs of the banking and credit union industries. We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to work at our corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ. In this role, you will work with a talented team of analyst, consultants, and directors in the Technology Solutions Group providing project support for client engagements. The incumbent must have excellent communication skills and the ability to successfully work with all levels of the organization.

Position Description:

Project Coordinator responsibilities include working closely with the Project Manager to prepare action plans, SOW including resources, timeframes, and budgets for projects. The position will perform various coordinating tasks, like schedule and risk management, maintaining project documentation and handling financial queries. Ultimately, the Project Coordinator’s duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high-quality standards.

Major Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Self-starter who takes direction from Project Manager determines the best course of action and get things done with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and coordination responsibilities for a project(s), which include status reporting, project plan updates, scheduling and other administrative functions. Works directly with a Project or Program Manager (based on experience)
  • Main project contact for Cornerstone, Client and Vendor team members
  • Notifies and escalates issues to PM as necessary
  • Updates project schedule and coordinates with the project manager on deliverable execution
  • Schedules calls, meetings, demonstrations and other related project activities
  • Takes meeting notes, tracks action items status and works with the PM to get owners assigned
  • Tracks time in Dynamics
  • Monitors project budget, client invoicing and milestone status and reports to PM
  • Works with the PM to identify, resolve and manage project issues
  • Communicates timing for project deliverables and tracking of action items completion
  • Collects, formulates and distributes project status reports

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business / Technology related field – Finance, Economics, Information Systems or other quantitative focus a plus. MBA a plus
  • 4-6 years’ banking experience, preferably with knowledge in IT / Business analysis
  • Certifications in Project Management, Six Sigma, business analytics, Agile and similar disciplines is a plus

Language Skills
