Desktop Management & Network Specialist

We are a professional firm offering a wide range of consulting services to meet the needs of a core group of clients. We are seeking an outstanding candidate to join our growing team. As the Desktop Management and Network Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and problem resolution of workstation equipment, application software, and the corporate network. This role works closely with end users to meet business needs. This position will be based in our Scottsdale, AZ corporate headquarters.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implements solutions to specific workstation problems
  • Coordinates and installs workstation hardware and software
  • Confers with end users on workstation hardware and software issues involving installation, training, and problem resolution
  • Participate in important technological department projects and perform problem diagnosis of network and desktop environment
  • Participates in the analysis and resolution of network problems associated with specific workstation problems
  • Involved in the testing and deployment of new applications and systems
  • Keeps current on technology industry trends or issues to identify opportunities for system and process improvements
  • Advises end users on the use of technology
  • Implements and provides support for smartphones, tablets and other mobile devices

Education

  • Certification or education in Information Technology preferred

Experience

  • 3-5 years of experience with desktop and network management tools and applications
  • Experience with Experience with Microsoft, Cisco, Meraki tools
  • Active Directory and network security preferred
  • Experience in financial industry preferred

  • Ability to prioritize work as needed and apply judgment based on concurrent assignments
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple project priorities in a deadline driven environment
