SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 27, 2015 – Management consulting firm Cornerstone Advisors announced significant firm growth today, led by the addition of banking industry analyst and consultant Ron Shevlin as director of research.

“Ron Shevlin is recognized industrywide for his leadership and pioneering research,” said Scott Sommer, Cornerstone Advisors president and chief executive officer.

Shevlin is the author of Smarter Bank: Why Money Management is More Important than Money Movement. His career has included analyst and consulting positions with Aite Group, Forrester and Epsilon. Shevlin was recently ranked #2 on Bank Innovation’s list of 30 Innovators to Watch and his Snarketing 2.0 blog was named to Radius’ 25 Best Marketing Blogs of 2014.

“Ron is a true original, but also a natural fit to our Gonzo culture. The spirit of Snarketing 2.0 reflects what Cornerstone has had with GonzoBanker for the past decade,” Sommer said. “As we continue our growth, we are looking forward to Ron’s contributions to our knowledge-based company and to both GonzoBanker and Snarketing 2.0.”

Further strengthening the firm's Research efforts, Cornerstone also welcomes Kaleb Seymouras a financial analyst. Seymour brings experience in financial, strategy, merger and acquisition research.

Other new Cornerstone team members include:
