your organization to support the new system after the initial implementation.
Acting as a bank or credit union representative, a Cornerstone Program
Manager or Program Management team is responsible for ensuring that system
implementations and conversions meet your business and technology requirements
- on time and within budget.
Serving as liaison between the institution and the selected vendor(s),
the Program Manager ensures delivery of services in accordance with the
executed contract through work planning, project management and budgeting,
scope control, and risk management.
Responsibilities of the Program Manager include:
- Work Planning and Estimating
Validate project objectives and create project plans including timelines
for tasks/milestones and resource plans
- Project Management
Oversee the planning, documenting, development/integration, testing
and implementation of the organization's system conversion across
multiple vendors
- Project Budgeting
Forecast and track project expenses and timelines
- Communication and Reporting
Prepare and provide regular written and verbal updates on milestones
and budget status to all stakeholders, including the applicable Steering
Committee comprised of corporate executives
- Scope Control
Manage issues and track performance metrics of solutions, in addition
to managing tradeoffs among scope, schedule and cost
