Bennett Quillen

Bennett Quillen is an information technology, operations and risk management executive and project manager with more than 35 years of strategic and “hands on” experience with commercial banks, thrifts, credit unions, trust companies and securities firms. Bennett has had responsibility for evaluating and managing the installation and migration of over two dozen system conversions involving several hundred applications. His far-reaching knowledge extends to virtually all the leading core systems and their operating platforms, including Fiserv, Fidelity, Jack Henry, Systematics, Kirchman and BISYS. He has worked with financial institutions ranging from $800 million to $100 billion in assets (the majority ranging from $3 to $12 billion in assets). Bennett attributes his strong project management and conversion management skills to executing detailed project plans – including assignation of tasks and responsibilities, proficiency in coaching and teaching, and delivery of cogent status reports.
Bennett holds an MBA from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, with majors in Industrial Management and Finance and a BS degree majoring in chemistry and mathematics from The Principia College in Elsah, Ill. He is an adjunct faculty member for Washington University and Webster University, St Louis, Mo., where he teaches courses in information technology, project management and economics. He was a director of the Mid-America Payments Exchange (MAPEX). Bennett has Treasury Management Certification from the Treasury Management Institute, is a certified Project Management Professional, and he is a Life Certified Information Technology Professional in the State of California.
